Injury Update On AJ Styles, Tommy Dreamer Misses Tonight's PPV, TNA In NYC

— Tommy Dreamer is not on hand for tonight’s Genesis, which is apparently the first television taping he’s missed since joining the organization in June. It’s considered a surprise that he missed the show because he’s been working as a producer and has been involved in all of the company’s production meetings in recent months.

— There are tentative plans for a TNA live event in New York City in March.

— AJ Styles was forced to pull out of competing at tonight’s TNA Genesis pay-per-view due to injury. He said on his Twitter account that he tore his hip flexor and hip labrum. He promised to be back wrestling “real soon,” but will miss the company’s upcoming tour of the United Kingdom.

F4WOnline.com reports that he is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
