WWE NXT Superstar Jordan Myles has made his feelings about his shirt design very clear on social media this week, calling out Triple H and Vince McMahon.
Myles stated how he will keep posting until his voice is heard as representation is important. He stated that if the shirt is how Triple H and Vince McMahon view him, then it is a slap in the face to every African American performer.
The design in question features Myles’ name in white text, on a red background, on a black t-shirt. It bares clear resemblance to historically racist depictions and stereotypes of African-Americans.
I will keep posting this till my voice is heard. I’m not sorry for anything I say or do.
Representation is important.
If this is @VinceMcMahon & @TripleH “vision” of me then this is a slap in the face to EVERY African American performer, fan, and supporter. pic.twitter.com/S6Gtg9e4lP
