Kamil Grosicki wants to leave Rennes because of the terrorism in France

Speaking to the Polish publication Super Express, Rennes winger Kamil Grosicki announced his decision to leave Ligue 1 owing to the ongoing spurts of terrorist attacks currently hounding France.

“I was 30km away from Monaco. I am sad that terrorist attacks are happening so often and that the French can do nothing about it. By living here, you cannot stop thinking about what is happening and what could happen… I think that this is not a comfortable situation for my family and I… I think now is a good time to change club. I am 28, I have just had a good season and a good Euros, I have spoken to my agent to find me an exit door. I think that if there is a club that has what is necessary to pay it will be a Premier League club. I also have contacts with the Middle East but very quickly it became clear that they would not be willing to pay that amount. The window continues until the end of August, we have time to find offers but if Rennes really want to sell me, their price will have to drop.”
