As one of the most sought-after supermodels in the industry, Kendall Jenner spends most of her time on high-fashion runways and in front of the camera dressed in the biggest designers, while also getting glam with some of the best hair and makeup pros in the business. But according to the model, when she’s off-duty, she takes a more low-key approach to her look, something that separates her from her older sisters.

“I’ve always been the different one,” the 21-year-old supermodel tells Harper’s Bazaar in her May cover story for the magazine. “I mean, I’m a girl and I like being a girl, but I’ve just never been into it like they have. I think I get that from my dad. I’d say I’m more of a Jenner than a Kardashian.”

And her sense of style isn’t the only way that she differs from her famous family. Jenner shares that she’s the most private and avoids over-sharing on social media — a rule she followed after her recent Pepsi commercial controversy, when she chose to remain quiet until an appearance at Coachella this weekend.

“More than the rest of my family, I guess,” she says about attempting to maintain a private side in her personal life. “Just ‘cause I think it’s powerful. Plus, I think people always want what they can’t have. It’s nice to have some mystery.”

But she did clear up some ongoing buzz about her love life, and we won’t be seeing a ring on that finger anytime soon.

“I’m not marrying anyone. I’m not engaged,” Jenner says. “There’s nothing long-term or serious like that in my life… I’m doing my thing. I’m having fun. I’m being young.”
