Lashley Retiring Soon? WWE Releases Top 10 Matches of 2017 So Far

It may be time for one of Impact Wrestling’s biggest stars to leave the company. PWInsider has reported that the word from Bobby Lashley’s MMA trainers, American Top Team, is that they have suggested that he call it quits with pro wrestling. Should he go through with the idea, he would likely be solely focusing on his career in MMA. Bobby Lashley would be joining a long list of stars who have left Global Force Wrestling this year including the Hardys, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, Drew McIntyre, Gail Kim soon, and plenty of others as well. Bobby Lashley is currently nearing the age of 41, if he does want to have a future in MMA, now’s the time to concentrate on those goals.
Bobby Lashley was first brought into WWE several years ago, he was earmarked for huge goals while he was there. Those ideas never did come to fruition though, and Lashley was released from his contract in 2008. He already wrestled for TNA for a year before leaving to focus on his MMA career, but he returned in 2014. This time around, Lashley has been doing some of the best work in his entire wrestling career. He has won the World Heavyweight Championship on four different occasions. He is currently undefeated in all of his Bellator fights, and he only lost two of his MMA fights overall. If Lashley should retire from wrestling, it could be a big loss for Global Force Wrestling.
