In what can be said as the first arrest by police for violating the Supreme Court order regarding bursting of the crackers, a 30-year-old man was booked for allegedly bursting firecrackers in Mayur Vihar area of east Delhi.

The Police were informed on November 1 by a neighbour of accused Damandeep that the latter was bursting old firecrackers, police said.
