According to Mexican media outlet Multimedios, Mathieu Valbuena’s agent is currently in Mexico for talks with Tigres.

Tigres is of course the same club that André Pierre Gignac joined last summer from Marseille.

Valbuena had a torrid time at OL this season, marred by the sextape and Karim Benzema controversy as well as poor form on the pitch that led to his omission from the French national team at EURO 2016.

Lyon President Aulas confirmed that he would be interested in selling the player if that is what Valby wants, hinting last week that some exotic destinations could be interested.
