Remember the Syrian girl, who was photographed walking on tin cans? The pictures of her plight in Syria were seen around the world and she was brought to Istanbul for treatment.

Her life changed after meeting Dr Mehmet Culcu, a prosthetics specialist treating her at an Istanbul clinic.

She now walks on prosthetic limbs.

Prosthetic artist and humanitarian Dr Culcu has healed the lives of hundreds of people. He designed the limbs free of cost.
