Nantes have announced this week that they have extended the contracts of Lucas Lima, Diego Carlos and most recently Valentin Rongier, tying them to the club until 2022.
Lima, who joined the club last season, spoke of his delight, saying “I hope to meet the expectations of the club, I am very happy hear and I believe that I have the best working conditions to help and succeed at FC Nantes.” Signing alongside Lima is youth graduate and occasional captain of the side Valentin Rongier, who has also tied himself down until 2022.
“I am very ambitious, and I have no limits”, says Rongier, who is in his fourth years as a professional. “I must try to do even better than I already have at the club, and I must try to be more decisive and continue on the same path by progressing in all areas.”
Brazilian Diego Carlos has also signed a deal which will take him to the year 2022, completing a good weeks worth of business for Claudio Ranieri’s club.
