– The Uso’s defeated Tons of Funk and the Real Americans on Monday’s RAW to become the #1 contenders to The Shield’s tag team titles. As previously mentioned, the Shield are expected to face the Rhodes Family at Battleground, so the Uso’s tag title shot will take place either on RAW or at Hell in a Cell in late October.

– Also on Monday’s RAW, Triple H stripped Daniel Bryan of the WWE Championship as a result of the fast count that ended his title victory over Randy Orton at Night of Champions.

The WWE website’s roster page currently lists the WWE Championship as vacant.

According to a report at f4wonline.com, the title will remain vacant until the upcoming WWE Battleground pay-per-view on Sunday, October 6th from Buffalo, New York. It’s expected that Daniel Bryan will face Randy Orton in some sort of gimmick match to crown the new WWE Champion.
