NWA announces Hard Times 2 for December

Coming out of their 73rd anniversary weekend, the NWA has announced when their next pay-per-view will be taking place.

NWA Hard Times 2 is set for Saturday, December 4. The announcement was made by NWA owner Billy Corgan during an appearance on Busted Open Radio on Tuesday.

Hard Times 2 will be held at GPB Studios in Atlanta.

The first NWA Hard Times PPV took place in January 2020 and was headlined by Ricky Starks defeating Trevor Murdoch in the finals of a tournament to crown a new NWA Television Champion. The show also featured Nick Aldis defeating Flip Gordon in an NWA vs. ROH interpromotional match to retain the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

Aldis lost the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship to Murdoch in the main event of NWA 73 this past Sunday. A stipulation of the match was that Murdoch would have had to retire if he lost.

Two PPVs took place over the NWA’s 73rd anniversary weekend. The NWA’s first-ever all women’s PPV Empower was held on Saturday.
