Premier League side Leeds United have today announced the permanent signing of 20-year-old French goalkeeper Illan Meslier from newly-promoted to Ligue 1 club FC Lorient.

The French youth international has signed a 3-year contract with LUFC, who have spent €6.5m on the goalkeeper after activating their obligation to buy the shot-stopper following their promotion to the big time.
