France Football report that one of the candidates on OGC Nice’s shortlist to replace the recently departed Head of Recruitment Serge Recordier (who has moved to AS Monaco), is Arsenal’s Chief Scout for France, Gilles Grimandi.

The website version of the popular magazine claims that Grimandi has one foot out of the door at Arsenal since Arsène Wenger’s departure, and has the advantage of knowing likely new manager Patrick Vieira very well.

Other names on their reported shortlist include Jean-Luc Buisine (Rennes) and Reda Hammache (Lille).
