The agonising wait for the families of the fifteen miners, who have been missing since December 13, is continuing to the second month. At this point, many of them have given up hope that their loved ones will one day be brought out alive from the rat hole mine which is still flooded.

Justina Dkhar, the mother of two men who were trapped in the mine told media that all that she hope to see is their bodies.
