It may only be May 1, but Paris Jackson may already be able to stake a claim on having the best year ever. Since making her official red carpet debut at InStyle‘s Golden Globes party, the 19-year-old attended the Grammys, covered Harper’s Bazaar, attended Paris Fashion Week and signed with IMG Models. And now, with her attendance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, she’s officially sealed her status as a fashion insider and one to watch.

The daughter of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, attended as a guest of Calvin Klein and designer Raf Simons in a simple black tea-length dress with a cutout at the waist by Calvin Klein by Appointment. Her stylist Karla Welch calls the dress “a very different and modern look for Paris. This is a Raf look all the way,” she tells PeopleStyle.

Jackson has taken to her position in the fashion spotlight, befriending models including Kendall Jenner, covering prestigious publications including CR Fashion Book and getting tiny tattoos like the rest of the “It” squad. And now with her walk up the famous stairs, we’re guessing she’s got big plans for the rest of her 2017.
