Following last night’s defeat to Marseille, OGC Nice central defender Paul Baysse announced to reporters that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

“My situation is as it is. I did not feel like the Nice representatives wanted to continue with me, that is football. I will work 100% right until the end. I prioritised Nice, I will move on to something else, I am open to all projects… The ball is round, I want to make the most of this time with my friends, with the club. Because I respect everyone, I will give my absolute all right until the end.”
