Paul Heyman on Brock Lesnar Working in WWE and UFC: “He Can Conquer in Both Universes”

Paul Heyman recently Tweeted about the current WWE Universal champion, Brock Lesnar. Heyman said that his client can conquer in both WWE and UFC. He also added that the champ can do so “seamlessly.”

Fans should not find this surprising of course. After all, Heyman does serve as Lesnar’s voice in Vince McMahon’s company. Paul is essentially the pitchman for The Beast Incarnate, often selling his client to the pro wrestling masses.

That’s a hard sell for some, especially considering that Brock is never around to defend Monday Night Raw‘s top championship. While fans certainly understand the idea of booking Lesnar as a special attraction, it has become a major point of contention for critics.

So if Brock does indeed decide to return to the UFC in 2019, he will once again leave WWE behind. But if Heyman’s words are any indication, it could be that Lesnar will work in both sports the same time. It’s an idea that’s been vocalized on WWE programming but it’s uncertain if McMahon would allow such a move to happen.

Lesnar’s next big match is against Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble on January 27. The Universal Championship will be on the line and many pro wrestling analysts believe that Brock will drop the belt, once again opening the door for his return to the UFC.

He can seamlessly conquer in both universes. He can do either / both at the highest level, both in terms of achievement and as an attraction.
