LeBron James has his man.
Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis is on his way to the Lakers, according to ESPN. The Lakers agreed to send Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 pick in 2019 – in exchange for the All-Star big man.
The deal comes after the Lakers failed to acquire he disgruntled Davis, who wanted out of New Orleans, at this past season’s trade deadline. The Pelicans now hold the No. 1 and No. 4 picks in this year’s draft and James finally gets his second superstar to play with in L.A. after the team missed the playoff in his first season there.
According to the New York Times, Kemba Walker will now be a top target of the Lakers in free agency after agreeing to acquire Davis.
