Australia successfully started off the 18th World Championships in Poland. Volleyoos overcame Cameroon in three-sets opening match despite they not only had to tackle opponents on the pitch, but also anathemas funneled by an African shaman from the tribunes at Centennial Hall in Wroclaw. Argentina coped easily with Venezuela too and joined two remaining leaders of Pool A (Poland and Australia).
