Scott Higginbotham has had his name cleared, with police charges dropped in court this morning.
Higginbotham was charged with obstructing a police officer and entering a police establishment without a lawful excuse in February.

At the time, police alleged Higginbotham assaulted an officer after his friend was arrested after a night out but that charge was later downgraded.
Higginbotham was slated to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning for sentencing but did not appear, with police offering no formal evidence and subsequently dropping the charges.In a statement provided to RUGBY.com.au, Higginbotham said he was glad the matter is resolved.
“I’m pleased that the allegations have been withdrawn,” he said.
“I have the utmost respect for police and what they do in the community.
“I’m glad that the matter is now behind me.”
