Our staff has voted, and the “Bipolar Rock ‘n’ Rolla” Mauro Ranallo has officially been awarded the 2018 PW Announcer of the Year award.

Mauro returned to WWE in mid-2017 as the voice of the NXT brand, and has been behind the broadcast booth all year long providing his signature, explosive style to the weekly television product as well as each major NXT Takeover event, calling some of the best matches of t 2018 including more than a few Match of the Year candidates.
Kevin Kelly followed closely behind Mauro, as he continued to bring the New Japan Pro Wrestling product to English-speaking viewers all around the world. Kevin worked with a number of stand-in secondaries throughout the year, and for the first time in history called the entire G1 Climax tournament live in Japan.
