ROH Parent Company Purchases YES Network

Deadline.com reports that ROH parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, is partnering up with several other parties to purchase the Yankee Entertainment and Sports (YES) Network in a $3.5 billion acquisition. The YES Network is a 22 regional sports network that is being sold by Disney as one of the conditions for the 21st Century Fox acquisition.
SBG includes a group of buyers who will now control 80% of the company. The group of buyers also includes the New York Yankees, Amazon, and other private equity investors such as Blackstone. Fox stated that it was not looking to re-acquire any of the networks since it could’ve courted scrutiny from regulators.
The deal is expected to be announced soon. PWInsider pointed out that YES Network has a national feed when it broadcasts NY Yankees games, which could make this network a viable home for a promotion such as ROH.Click Here: West Coast Eagles Guernsey
