Verdelli allegedly slipped his hand under the traffic officer’s skirt and groped her on a Manhattan-bound L train June 26, just six months after he was sprung from prison for the same crime.

Police Commissioner James O’Neill called for Verdelli, 67, to be banned from the subway as part of a push to block serial subway perverts from using the system.

The indictment counts are still sealed. Verdelli was arrested on charges of persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching and sexual abuse.

He’s due back in Manhattan Supreme Court on July 19 for arraignment.
