— A number of writers and road agents/producers missed this past Monday’s Raw, reports prowrestling.NET. WWE originally had plans to tape the show over the weekend, but switched it due to fan complaints. However, a number of the writers and road agents/producers had already planned vacations for the week off. Head Raw writer Brian Gewirtz and Gerald Brisco were among those not backstage at Raw. Brisco runs “the Gorilla Position” backstage and Bruce Prichard filled in for him.
— Michelle McCool now has an account on WWE’s social networking site, which you can see at this link. She has posted some personal photos as well as her latest blog on the account. She talks about the grueling tour overseas which had her on the road for 14 days straight. She also talks about the upcoming draft. {Blog link}
— Vince McMahon will be making an appearance on CNBC’s Power Lunch program today, which airs from noon to 2 p.m. ET. McMahon will be discussing the Million Dollar contest.
— WWE has plans to honor 30 wounded soldiers and veterans at the June 30 Raw in Oklahoma City. {Press release}
