As seen on WWE Raw this past Monday night, WWE aired a video package featuring Ronda Rousey’s past fight training, ahead of her Raw contract signing taking place at WWE Elimination Chamber this weekend. You can watch the video in the player above.

On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, host Dave Meltzer speculated that WWE might have run the package in order to help suppress any boos Rousey might draw at Elimination Chamber on Sunday night.

“They know there is a resentment or there appears to be a resentment”, said Meltzer, via Ringside News. “You never know how strong it is until you really see it until she comes out. We will see on Sunday. It’s a hardcore fan group in Vegas. Maybe Vegas will be a good city for her, who knows. You don’t know, you really don’t know what’s going to happen or how people are going to react. I can see with this footage they were really trying to make sure she didn’t get booed as much as they can. There is nothing that makes you like someone in theory than watching them train their ass off at your thing.”
