— Today also marks the one year anniversary of the first publicly announced WWE Wellness Policy violations. One year ago today, Harry “DH” Smith and Chris Masters were suspended by WWE for Wellness Policy violations. Masters was fired from WWE the very next week and Smith still has yet to recover after languishing on the Raw brand for the next few months before ultimately being shipped off to developmental. During this one year timespan, WWE has suspended a total of nine wrestlers, including Neil Bzibziak (a.k.a. “Chet the Jett”), Derrick Neikirk, Jeff Hardy, Afa Anoai (a.k.a. “Manu”), William Regal, Jimmy Wang Yang & Dolph Ziggler, in addition to Smith & Masters.
