WWE Hall Of Famer Sting recently appeared as a guest on the Dallas Cowboys’ “Talkin’ Cowboys” show. Below are some of the highlights from the interview.
On getting back into the ring: “You know what, I always wanted that Undertaker match. I think wrestling fans it’s a dream match for them, it’s a dream match for me too, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen.”
On getting into pro wrestling: “I ended up a pro wrestler, but the area of Southern California that I grew up in, a little town, we didn’t have pro wrestling on TV. So, when I was approached about pro wrestling, I didn’t know what it was. Some big guy used to come into the gym that I owned and managed, people would freak out [and say] ‘Do you know who that is?’ It was Hulk Hogan.”
On becoming a Cowboys fan: “The whole country for the whole time I was growing up, the Cowboys were always talked about. The Cowboys were always number one, even in California, think my Dad was a Cowboys fan.”
