‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 looks bigger and crazier than ever

These kids just can’t catch a break.

The final trailer for Season 3 of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” dropped Thursday night, and once again the children of Hawkins, Indiana, are getting a less-than-relaxing summer.

“You let us in,” begins Dacre Montgomery’s Billy, presumably to Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven. “Now you have to let us stay.”

“It doesn’t make sense,” Eleven then says. “I closed the gate.”

Not so fast! As we learned in the final shot of Season 2 at the school dance, the shadow monster still lurks.

Will (Noah Schnapp) says of the beast, “He’d want to attach himself to someone again. A new host.”

And then we see a shot of Max’s mean big brother Billy. Could “Mr. Business in the Front, Party in the Back” be the new monster?

The rest of the trailer — like the previous, even flashier one that dropped in March — is a sprawling, cinematic achievement with better effects than several big-budget action films released this summer such as “Men in Black: International” and “Godzilla: King of The Monsters.”

And — bonus! — Winona Ryder is seen doing a lot more fighting.

Variety reported in 2017 that the show’s first season budget was $6 million per episode, and that increased to $8 million for Season 2. Considering its popularity and 10 Emmy Award nominations, it’s likely even more expensive now. And it shows.

There is an air of finality to this trailer, but don’t fret. The show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, and cast members have all spoken publicly about doing at least a fourth season.

“Stranger Things” Season 3 drops on Netflix July 4.
