The best bags, shoes and belts for fall

While belts aren’t exactly a startling concept, layering your look with an embellished one has never been more en vogue. For fall, major fashion houses offered ideas aplenty on how to strap into the season’s breakout accessory trend (above). At Celine, the vibe was decidedly equestrian, while Versace’s bolder takes dazzled with ’80s-inspired decadence. Chanel’s offerings bore ladylike house signatures (quilts topped with pearls), and Alexander Wang’s gold-buckled versions will satisfy the logo-chaser. Meanwhile, Deborah Drattell’s Western take — covered in crystals — truly cinches the deal.

Below, check out fall’s most daring duos of bags and shoes.
