The views aren’t even the craziest thing about this 360-degree infinity pool

Just getting into this pool is enough to make you feel like James Bond.

Designs for what could be the world’s first rooftop infinity pool, with 360-degree views of the London skyline, were unveiled this week by UK-based manufacturer Compass Pools.

The company isn’t only conjuring up the 158-gallon vertigo-inducing pool but also planning to build a 55-story hotel for it to sit atop, to be named the Infinity London.

In an effort to keep the views from all sides pristine as people get in and out of the water, the designers pulled a trick that seems straight out of a spy flick.

“Normally a simple ladder would suffice, but we didn’t want stairs on the outside of the building or in the pool as it would spoil the view,” said Compass swimming pool designer and technical director Alex Kemsley.

Instead, a rotating spiral staircase will rise from the pool floor when a swimmer wants to get in or out, using a system based on submarines.

“You have to imagine a tube in a tube. The first tube is to ‘cut a path’ through the water and create an air lock. The second to deliver the staircase up to water level,” Kemsley told The Post. “The engineering is complex but delivers the seamless look.”

The staircase won’t disrupt any swimmers wading above it, thanks to a camera, Kemsley said.

“There is a camera vision system in the pool to detect where all the swimmers are for access and instead of lifeguard,” he said. “We couldn’t put a chair on the side!”

Both the pool’s walls and floors will be transparent — so speedo- and bikini-clad bathers will be visible from all the way down in the lobby.

High-tech amenities include a built-in wind speed reader connected to a computer system that will keep the water at a comfortable temperature and make sure it doesn’t rain down on passersby below.

Construction of the building beneath the pool could begin as early as 2020 “if all partners and contractors are confirmed,” the company said.
