NXT Superstar Velveteen Dream was seen backstage at the Royal Rumble last night sporting a neck brace, according to PWInsider.com. It’s not known exactly when he suffered the injury, if that is the case, but he did work several matches during Royal Rumble Axxess throughout the weekend, with his last match taking place on Sunday afternoon.

Of course in this business, especially considering who is involved, you can never fully rule out the possibility that the whole thing is a work. Given that he didn’t appear on the show and the only people who saw the brace were backstage, it does add credence to the potential injury being legit.
