Lilian Garcia to Sing National Anthem, Reacts to Protestors

Former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia noted on Instagram that she will be singing the National Anthem at an upcoming NFL game, and the news drew criticism from some fans who commented on the current National Anthem controversy in football.

A fan commented with “why? It’s clear NFL doesn’t like the anthem or our flag,” to which Garcia responded by writing, “I can’t control what others do but I can control what I do and that is sing my heart out for a country that has allowed me so many opportunities.”
