In last day in Pool C wins got Thailand against Algeria 3-0 (25-7 25-14 25-13) and Japan against Turkey 3-1 (25-21 30-28 18-25 25-18).

 

Thailand stopped Algeria in similar way as did it Japan in Turkey on Friday and Saturday. This time Algeria did only 20 spike kills and gave Thailand 20 errors. On court today also were some Thai substitutes, but the best scorer was their starter, Malika Kanthong (OH/OPP) with 14 points. Also obver 10 points had Tapaphaipun Chaisri (OH, 12) and Ajcharaporn Kongyot (OPP converted from MB, 11 points).

In second match Japan won with Turkey after exciting match. Both teams were great defense, good job did there Japanese libero Kotoki Zayasu. Both teams had good three scoring Wing-Spikers: Turkish – Neslihan Darnel (OPP, 16 points), Gözde Sonsirma (OH, 16 points) and Neriman Özsoy (OH, 13 points); Japanese – Saori Kimura (OH, 17), Yukiko Ebata (OH, 17) and Risa Shinnabe (12 points). 5 errors more by Turkey (24 JPN-29 TUR) was a key for losing this game.
