According to Foot Mercato, Lokomotiv Moscow striker Wilson Isidor is headed to OL on loan with an option to buy. This incoming transfer comes as somewhat of a victory being that he was sought out by other clubs including Lorient who reportedly had an agreement to sign the French forward.
The 22-year-old was targeted to compensate for the departure of Karl Toko-Ekambi who left for Rennes as a player is a fairly complete forward. With good size, speed, finishing, and creativity can play in several positions and systems. The former Rennes academy product scored 9 goals in 24 appearances for the Russian club. 6 of which came in his first 6 matches with the club earning him player of the month in the Russian Premier League.

OL are looking to salvage their winter transfer window after failing to sign several transfer targets. This signing, in particular, is not only a good replacement for Toko-Ekambi but considering his age and upside is potentially a player who could complete a starting position.
