— As we have noted before, WWE is dropping the number of PPVs in 2018 down to 14 events. Instead of having one Raw and one Smackdown PPV pretty much every month there isn’t a big PPV, the company is scaling it back to 5 Raw shows, 4 Smackdown shows and 5 co-branded shows (both Raw and Smackdown). The tentative schedule is below, with “Money in the Bank” now joining Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series as events where superstars from both brands will be appearing. Also of note is that the Great Balls of PPV name is gone.
