As of the moment, Jim Ross has been confirmed for the lead announcer role for the upcoming women’s tournament this coming July. According to the Wresting Observer Newsletter, there is a backstage rumor going around that WWE is looking for a strong female presence as well.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are a few names being tossed around to join Jim Ross in the commentating booth. Lita is one of those people being rumored to be joining Ross in the commentating booth, but we’ve also heard other names like Renee Young and Mickie James.
