WWE Moves ‘Total Divas’ to New Night Ahead of Next Week’s Season Premiere

Premiere Week somehow got even bigger.

WWE has officially announced that its long-running hit reality series Total Divas will be moving to a brand new night, effective immediately. Next week’s season 9 premiere will now take place on Tuesday, October 1 on the E! network at 10:00 PM ET instead of the planned Wednesday time slot that would have put it head-to-head with both WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite.

The decision must have been a last-minute one, as promotion for the Total Divas return has been pushing Wednesday, October 2 as the date for months.

WWE will now, at least for the short-term while the season is airing, be running original new content four nights every week, with Raw on Monday, Total Divas on Tuesday, NXT on Wednesday, and Smackdown on Friday. That of course does not include PPV/Takeover weekends.

The upcoming season will focus on UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey, who is also listed as an Executive Producer. Natalya, Naomi, Nia Jax, Carmella and Sonya Deville will also be featured stars, with occasional appearances from the Bella Twins.
