Danville, Illinois

DH Smith & Super Crazy d. Trevor Murdoch & Charlie Haas
Lots of good action with DH Smith pinning Haas after a powerslam. Note: Haas changed into his mask halfway through the contest.

Paul Burchill w Katie Lea d. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
Burchill wins with a roll-up from the corner where he might have grabbed some tights in the process to secure the win. USA chants through the entire match

Snitsky d. Brian Kendrick
Total squash by Snitsky as crowd chanted “brush your teeth” the whole time.

Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes d. Santino Marella & Carlito to retain WWE tag team belts.
Rhodes with a DDT to Santino for the win. Extra mic work at the beginning promoting Maria’s playboy shoot.

Intermission

Maria & Mickie James d. Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall
Audience was forced to sit through Jillian’s singing and it was not pretty. Mickie got the pin after a few kicks to the head. Note: Candice Michelle’s music hit and Phoenix was momentarily distracted.

Y2J Chris Jericho d. Mr. Kennedy
Solid match with lots of close pin falls. Mr. Kennedy was mad because he was called in to work the show, but mention how he would “do mic work” to Y2J just like he did to Cena on Raw. Y2J wins with the code breaker.

Randy Orton d. Jeff Hardy to retain the WWE Championship
Hardy almost fell off the turnbuckle during his entrance. 4 Star match with lots of moves and ringside action. A couple of reversals at the last second and Orton wins with the RKO. However, Orton got a little too arrogant and went for the kick to the head, in which Hardy moved and gave him the twist of fate and then a swanton bomb off the top rope.
