WWE SmackDown video highlights: Backlash go-home show

As WWE returned to Montreal for the second straight night, SmackDown finalized its plans for Backlash ahead of Sunday.

A no disqualification stipulation was added to AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura’s WWE Championship match at the pay-per-view, and Nakamura made sure to hit one more low blow on Styles before facing him. Samoa Joe also appeared and said he’ll be coming for the winner of the title match.

Charlotte Flair, Asuka & Becky Lynch teamed against Carmella, Peyton Royce & Billie Kay in last night’s main event, with the babyfaces standing tall prior to Charlotte challenging for Carmella’s SmackDown Women’s Championship on Sunday.

Jeff Hardy defending his United States title against Randy Orton was also made official for Backlash. They appeared on Miz TV and defeated The Miz & Shelton Benjamin, but Orton laid out Hardy with an RKO after the match.
