Daniel Bryan was scheduled to appear on Miz TV tonight to finally confront The Miz after months of waiting to see what could happen if Daniel Bryan was ever cleared.

Instead of getting the face off we all were looking forward to, Daniel Bryan Bryan was attacked backstage earlier tonight by none other than Big Cass, who took Bryan’s spot on the most must see talk show in the WWE.

Bryan responded later in the night, confirming his participation in the Greatest Royal Rumble on Friday, and also said he spoke to Smackdown LIVE General Manager Paige to get a match with Big Cass at WWE Backlash.

Backlash will be the first of upcoming now co-branded pay per views, and will be Daniel Bryan’s first singles match back on Pay Per View since being cleared and returning from forced retirement. Check out the full card below.
