Ligue 1 side Angers have formally opened negotiations with French second division side RC Lens for the signing of English midfielder John Bostock, according to L’Équipe.

The 25-year-old’s current deal expires at the end of the 2017/18 campaign, so Le SCO are hoping for a relatively cheap signing.
