Breaking: Kurt Angle Makes Surprise Return During WWE Raw, Attacking ‘Acting GM’ Baron Corbin

Per the order of Stephanie McMahon, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle was indefinitely suspended from his role as Monday Night Raw General Manager following SummerSlam back in August. Filling in for the Olympic gold medalist as Acting General Manager” has been the former constable, Baron Corbin.

This Monday night, Corbin announced an “all-star battle royale” featuring international talents from all around the world, in order to figure out the first member of the Raw roster to advance to the upcoming WWE World Cup tournament in Saudi Arabia.

In reality, the star-studded affair was actually just a front for Corbin himself to win, as he filled the ring with a bunch of local jobbers dressed up as ridiculous foreign stereotypes. However, one of the “local jobbers”, a conquistador from Spain if you can believe that, hid beside the ring throughout the bout and actually managed to eliminate Corbin from the battle royale, winning the match.

The mysterious masked man would then reveal himself to be none other than Kurt Angle, dressed up in a shiny gold costume. It appears that the Hall of Famer is looking to gain a measure of revenge against the man who has been a thorn in his side for most of 2018. In any case, Angle did win the match, and has been officially announced as a participant in the WWE World Cup tournament next month at Crown Jewel.
