Former Tag Champion Says WWE Would Welcome Him Back “With Open Arms”, Hints At Possible ROH & NJPW Future

Former WWE Superstar Darren Young recently spoke with The Roman Show about life away from WWE since being released from the company in late 2017, and his plans as the new year approaches. You can check out the full interview in the video below.

Young discussed how much time he’s had to get in tremendous shape and get his health back on track now that he’s not working 300-plus days on the road with WWE. He also noted that he recently went to a WWE event in Los Angeles, and claims that officials have welcomed him back “with open arms”, should the LGBT-advocate decide to make his return.

In the meantime it looks like the former WWE Tag Team Champion is looking to get back into the ring more in 2019, as he’s spent much of his time in recent months fulfilling public speaking engagements and working within the LGBT community.

The 35-year-old star even says he’s hopeful to get a look from Ring of Honor, or New Japan Pro Wrestling in the future, so you never quite know where D-Young may show up.
