The National Enquirer, a tabloid publication that ran a sensationalistic story on Saturday, is claiming Hulk Hogan could be thrown in jail for perjury.
The story does claim that court transcripts show that Hogan (Terry Bollea) allegedly made conflicting statements to the F.B.I. and in deposition to lawyers for Gawker.com.
Gawker had obtained some transcripts, which showed that during a hearing on 7/2, Gawker’s attorney, Seth Berlin, told the judge that he had learned Hogan made statements under oath that were directly at odds with each other.
The story is loaded with a lot of “ifs” and there does not appear to be anything imminent at this point.
