IGN is reporting that CM Punk is now officially a writer for the Startling Sports Stories #1 comic from DC Comics; mature readers imprint, Vertigo.

Punk is scheduled to work on an issue with writers Brian Azzarello, Paul Pope, Gilbert Hernandez and Darick Robertson.

Startling Sports Stories #1 is scheduled for a March 2015 release and will be Punk’s second published comic this year, as he is currently working on Marvel’s Thor Annual #1, which is scheduled for a February release.
