As we have been reporting, rumors are that Vince McMahon might be looking into reviving the XFL following the news that he is personally funding a new company, outside of WWE, called “Alpha Entertainment, LLC”.

According to Darren Rovell, McMahon recently filed to trademark the names “URFL”, “United Football League”, and “For the Love of Football”.
Vince McMahon’s Alpha Entertainment has filed for five trademarks to “XFL.”

the records say they did it on December 16 and it just showed up in the trademark office filings.

WWE previously filed to trademark the name “XFL” back in June, before the December deadline, and the new filings come from Alpha Entertainment.
