Paul Heyman Speaks on Managing Conor McGregor in WWE and Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier in UFC

Paul Heyman has never been shy when it comes to self-promotion. The advocate for current WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar is also not shy when it comes to promoting his client. That’s true whether Brock is wrestling in WWE or fighting in the UFC.

But what are the chances that Heyman would advocate for controversial UFC star Conor McGregor in WWE? TMZ caught up with Heyman recently and asked him that very question.

“The only way I would ever advocate for Conor McGregor is if I got 50% of his money, which considering the fact that I can talk far better than Conor McGregor, I would deserve a lot more. But I would be reasonable with my fee for my advocacy.”

Heyman’s words were spoken very tongue-in-cheek of course, though many have speculated on a possible McGregor run in WWE at some point. Heyman was also asked about the possibility of Lesnar facing off against current UFC champion Daniel Cormier.

“As long as Daniel Cormier has the balls to step into the Octagon and put his title up against Brock Lesnar and UFC comes up with the money for Brock Lesnar, I don’t see anything that would keep Brock Lesnar from taking the fight.”

Lesnar is reportedly preparing for a return to the Octagon. Though nothing has been made official just yet, many insiders believe it’s only a matter of time until Brock is booked to face Cormier for the UFC Championship. Cormier challenged Lesnar back in July of 2018 and The Beast Incarnate quickly accepted.

Paul Heyman has hinted at the possibility of Lesnar becoming a two-sport champion on WWE programming several times over the past few months. Whether or not this actually happens remains to be seen.
