class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>Having overseen an impressive victory against the champions on his debut, Al Hain-Cole expects Nuno to come back to haunt his former club
Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping to enjoy a winning return to Molineux when his Tottenham team take on Wolves on Sunday.
The Portuguese manager left the Black Country in the summer after four successful years that saw him guide the team from the Championship back into the Premier League and European qualification.
Wolves vs Tottenham latest odds
Having overseen an impressive 1-0 victory over Manchester City in his first match in charge of his new side, Nuno’s Tottenham are available at 13/10 (2.30) with bet365 to come back to haunt his old fans with another win here.
Wolves slumped to a 1-0 defeat at Leicester in their opening game but can be backed at 23/10 (3.30) to bounce back with a big win against their former boss.
Last season’s meeting at this ground resulted in a 1-1 draw, and there are odds of 11/5 (3.20) available on this one also finishing up all square.
Wolves vs Tottenham team news
Willy Boly, Yerson Mosquera, Jonny, Daniel Podence and Pedro Neto are all ruled out through injury for the home team.
It remains to be seen whether Harry Kane will be involved after missing the opening win against City, having been left out of the squad for Thursday’s Europa League defeat against Pacos de Ferreira apparently to work on his match fitness.

Wolves vs Tottenham preview
While his departure was not greeted with universal despair among the Molineux faithful, there is no question that Nuno has left big shoes to fill after all he achieved at the club.
Indeed, his replacement Bruno Lage is faced with a difficult challenge to match the expectations of at least a mid-table finish, particularly given the injuries he is forced to contend with as he begins life in a new league.
Lage has also taken over a team that looked on a downwards trajectory after finishing last season with just three wins from the final 13 league matches, and has overseen some mixed results in pre-season.
Wolves vs Tottenham predictions
In contrast, Spurs are on a high after an extremely positive summer and the excellent win over Manchester City, so could well be worth backing at those 13/10 (2.30) odds on Sunday.
